The Marina Beach

It was five in the evening when i reached the marina beach. It has been a few years now since i last visited it. I never imagined that the beach would be so much polluted with plastics and garbage. After the governtment banned the use of plastics, i thought it would be as clean as any other beach in the world. I settled myself in a somewhat isolated spot. I looked around to notice what was happening and i noticed kids playing in the water and adults keeping a keen eye on them. The endless expanse of the Indian ocean had me awe-struck. I felt a bit uncomfortable at sitting alone, dodging glances. My attire wasnt very fit for the beach sand. The sea breeze gave me sense of relaxation that i havent felt for a long time now. The waves seem to give you an array of thoughts to ponder about just as you look at them.
